• Are Garmin watches waterproof?

  The majority of Garmin watches can withstand some water exposure, however, only timepieces with a water resistance rating of 5 ATM (50 metres) or higher can be used while surface swimming.

  Garmin watches with higher capabilities allow for other water sports activities.

• Are Garmin watches accurate for heart rate?
