Most people tend to get valuation on their most sentimental pieces as a way to protect them in the event of loss or damage. Once valued, you’ll receive a document that will help with any future insurance claims.

The price may vary depending on the type of watch and if it features any diamonds within the design:

• Watch with no stones - £135
• Watch with 1-10 diamonds - £156
• Watch with 11-20 diamonds - £160
• Watch with 21-30 diamonds - £167

Please bring your watch into your nearest Beaverbrooks store where one of our experts will inspect and advise a price before arranging your valuation.

We work with SafeGuard, the UK’s leading Jewellery and Watch valuation service, to provide you with a professional and independent valuation. The expert valuers carefully examine your jewellery and watches using the best practice methods and gemmological equipment.

Your valuation can take up to five weeks after SafeGuard have received your diamond, jewellery or watch. We will keep you updated on your valuation throughout the process.

When you come to visit one of our store experts, please bring purchase receipts and any previous valuations or certificates with you so we can provide as much detail as possible to the valuers at SafeGuard.

When your jewellery or watch has been returned, you will receive a valuations folder containing a full description of your piece, insurance price of the item, and a photo.
